Entivity Announces the Release of Steeplechase® VLC Software Version 5.2

Ann Arbor, MI - March 29, 2001 Entivity, A Phoenix Contact Company, the leading supplier of PC-based automation and control software, today announced the release of its Steeplechase® Visual Logic Controller (VLC) software version 5.2. This latest version of software includes features to benefit the VLC customers, including sub-millisecond scan rates for specialized automation projects and password protection of flowcharts.

Thousands of customers across a broad range of industries - automotive, material handling, semiconductor - currently use Entivity PC-based automation and control products to achieve productivity enhancements and cost savings that are measured in faster system design and launch times, lower machine downtime, and data connectivity between the factory floor and rest of the enterprise.

As with prior software releases, Entivity will offer ESS (extended support and services) to Steeplechase® VLC customers, which entitles subscribers to free upgrades and unlimited technical support.
