Entivity Releases New Versions of Popular Automation Software

Ann Arbor, MI – March 18, 2002    Entivity announces the latest versions of its Steeplechase VLC™ and Studio™ products.  “We’re always working to help our customers incorporate faster development, more connectivity and cost reductions on the shop floor,” said Ken Spenser, Entivity’s CEO.  “With these new releases we have incorporated many of the features our customers have requested.

In addition to customer requests, these new versions provide new features such as, connectivity to Cognex® In-Sight™ vision products, added support for Windows XP and many development tools for faster project design and implementation.

 Entivity Studio 6.5 (which uses Microsoft Visio® for development of control flowcharts and HMI screening) incorporates:

  • Modbus Master Serial communication
  • DDE Server support for Microsoft Windows 2000
  • Cognex In-Sight1000 and 3000 Vision Control Block
  • Build Time improvements for HMI components

Steeplechase VLC 6.0 (which has the fastest real time control available) incorporates: 

  • Windows XP support
  • Enhanced TAG CROSS REF
  • Citect HMI version 5.4
