Course
Objectives: To expose the student to additional techniques
and tools in the product that will broaden scope of applications
beyond ordinary discrete control. Some of the topics that
may be covered include:
- PID
Applications
- Advanced
programming techniques using serial communications
- Motion
Control applications (optional 3rd day in Studio
course)
- I/O
sub-system diagnostics and communications
- Database
access
- Realtime
LAN communications
The
actual topics discussed are determined in advance by the
attendees. The class size is limited to six and is focused
on the specific needs of the students.
Course
Duration: 2 days - Classes begin at 8:30 AM and run
to approximately 5:00 PM.
Target
Audience: Engineers, Technicians, and Manufacturing
Personnel involved in control system design & implementation.
Prerequisites:
Students attending this class must have attended the Developers’
course. They also must have a working knowledge of Microsoft
Windows NT, and terms and design strategies commonly found
in the manufacturing controls environment.
